I'm not Feeling Well

This is the worst cold/flu that I had for my entire life. I don’t like the feeling (congested nose). I’m pregnant and I shouldn’t take any medicine. It’s almost a week already and yet I’m not getting any better. Tomorrow will be my next check up and I’ll just ask my OB what’s a good remedy to get rid with this sickness that won’t deprive the health of the my baby.

Update: The OB said that I will just get a bowl of hot boiling water and inhale close to the bowl. And it did worked for me! I don’t have congested nose anymore!

I got this 10 commandments for parents from Bienne’s Communication Notebook. As parent we have to know the commandments that we must apply for our daily living with out kids. Following these commandments would make us a better parent and at the same time molding the kids for a better person.

1. I will always love and respect my child for what he is and not of what I want him to be.

3. I will crate a loving home environment and show my child that he is loved, whenever and however I can.

4. I will, when discipline necessary, let my child know that I disapprove of what he does, not what he is.

6. I will make time for my child and cherish our moments together, realizing how important- and fleeting- they are.

7. I will not burden my child with emotions and problems he is not equipped to deal with, remembering that I am the parent and he is the child.

8. I will encourage my child to experience the world and all its possibilities guiding him in its ways and taking pains to leave him carefully but not tearfully.

9. I will take care of myself physically and emotionally so that I can be there for my child whenever he needs me.

10. I will try to be the kind person I want my child to grow up to be loving, fair-minded, morally upright, giving and hopeful.

Boracay Getaway

We are here now at Boracay (June 24-28). This is my dream place to go. Boracay is known to be one of the most popular beach resorts in the world. Now I know why so many locals and tourists are keep on visiting this place, its an awesome place! You can never ask for more. One of the best vacation place ever! Even if the place was hit by typhoon (yesterday and the other day) and yet the place is packed (mostly are foreigners). Boracay has a lot to offer! We’ll be back in this place for sure. By the way, they have internet connection here. You can get a free internet signal around! Cool! I can still continue my blogging thing.

Killing the Time

There are times that you want to make the time so fast especially if you’re waiting for something very important to you, It could be a special occasion or a person. Do you feel the agony of waiting? For me, yes and to be honest, I can’t wait anymore! So to make the time comes faster than usual, all you have to do is, don’t mind the date of the day and don’t look at the clock!hehe! But instead invest your time productively by doing something that you enjoyed… why don’t you start your blog now? So many bloggers now a days are telling their friends to start today or you’ll be left behind hehe! Personally, the reasons I have blog now are the following : 1.) it will improve my communication skills( I need it becoz I have an American husband), 2.) It will give me so many informations about the world through reading other blogs and its links, 3.) This is my way to kill my time since I’m just at home, 4.) They said you can earn money from blogging so grab it, and 5. ) I can spread the good news to some of my friends who haven’t heard about it yet and guide them through.

When time comes that advertisers won’t accept bloggers anymore due to high numbers of bloggers already, I still continue my blog to express my thoughts and to avoid boredom, to have something to do at vacant time. Does it make sense?

What I Love About Blogging

It's time to update this blog. This is my second blog. The first blog I made is the Twerlermz' blog and at this moment it is doing good though no PR yet, I hope I can get it soon to earn some bucks. I won't deny the fact that I'm into blogging so I can earn extra bucks. At first I thought it's not for me because I'm not really into writing but as time goes by, I learned to love blogging. Isn't it obvious?

I decided to update this blog because I'm inspired to do so. And it is also because every time I submit my first blog to any company that accepts advertising services, they accepted it and so I said oh I'm capable of making money as well!

Anyway, another thing I love about blogging is that I gain so many friends and I'm enjoying the warm personality of each blogger that I met online... and they are so helpful in any way they can.

What a Dream Last Night

I woke up today with severe headache due to my stressful dream! A funny dream though according to my hubby when I shared to him today. You want to know my dream? Well it was about swimming pool built in our backyard at my hometown. At first, the pool is made from hard wood and so since it was a wood,there's a lickage in between the wood so the water would only stay for few minutes. My brother put a plactic cover around the pool, so instead of swimming pool it became a waterbed! And I really wanted to swim so I removed the cover and swim but to my dismay, the water is gone, what a waste. So my hubby and my sister decided to build a real swimming pool. What made me so stressed with my dream was, my brother used the money for his porcelain teeth! That made me crazy! I scolded him and then I woke up with headache. The good thing was, Bienne massaged my head and I felt better when I started my day.

Back to School for Bienne

Back to school for Bienne. She is now in first grade at South Hills International School Banawa, Cebu. This would be her new school which is close to the apartment. At first it was hard to convince her to transfer school because she already loved her old school “Playhouse Bright Academy” but then it is too far from the apartment. Unlike SHIS is just two minutes away. Later on she understood that what she likes is not always be granted.

I'm so glad that Ivy was so patient and generous for making my new layout. Thank you very much Ivz! I really like the output and I'm pretty sure that this time, I can update this blog regularly. I'm now inspired to do it.

When I just started blogging, I envied those blogs that are cool looking and so nice.. I asked myself how they made it but don't have the time to search for I'm too busy making posts for my other blog. I'm so lucky that Ivy noticed my boring page, hehe! and she volunteered and shared her talent to make my page more presentable. Of course, i felt so fortunate for this.

My First Post

Finally, I started this blog today. Why I decided to start a Happy Family Blog? Simply because I'm a happy person, my husband as well and of course our Bienne. In the next few months another family member will be added in our happy family, she's no other than baby Arianna!


I had other blogs that I started but didn't able to update because of the reason that it's so hard to manipulate the website, unlike this one that it's so user-friendly. I'll try my best to post as much as I can so I can submit this blog to advertising networks when it is already qualified.

I love to blog and read. I want to learn from others through their life's experiences by reading their articles. One way to another I would also share my thoughts here that maybe can be useful to others who are reading my personal articles.
