At Church Today

God works in mysterious ways. Today, Arianna is awake from 5AM to 10AM.. That's long hours of her being awake. And we realized that it's the plan of God. We were able to concentrate in the sermon today because at the time we were inside the worship place, Arianna was sleeping. She woke up when we arrived home.

We were anticipating at first that when the worship starts she'll be crying and we end up going home instead. I hold Arianna half the time and I transfered her to hubby's arms. My arms were aching already. Next Sunday, we'll bring stroller.

First Baby's Day Out

The hapifam went out today for the first pedia appointment of baby Arianna. We stayed in the clinic for an hour..there were two babies ahead of us. Baby Anne just slept the whole time (actually the whole day). Her body clock is really american because she is awake on night time(Philippine time) and sleeping on day time..same as true with me.. I have to adjust to her body clock or else I'll be awake 24/7.

I have a good news... I can now give my milk to my baby. I was surprised that today my milk came out all of a sudden..what a blessing! It's easier now to feed the baby without worrying if she has to drink water or not because breastfeed is the best, no need to give the baby a water to drink. I'll breastfeed her a long as I have enough supply of milk. More soups for me so the supply of milk won't run out.

Welcome Baby Arianna to HapiFam

Arianna was derived from Italian word which means "very holy". Her nickname is "Anne". She was born on Sept. 18, 2008 at Chong Hua Hospital, Cebu City, Philippines. She is now the apple of the eye of the hapifam. I have posted about her birth at Twerlermz' blog
so check it out!

Baby Arianna is a good sleeper that's why I can still do my blogging hobby each time she is sleeping but sometimes I sleep when she's sleeping. Her daddy is here with us full time so I'm not in so much stress because hubby has a talent in taking care of the baby. I'm so lucky that Arianna has a great father, very supportive and super loving!

1&1/2 CM

I am now 1 1/2 CM (internal). My OB was able to touch the head of my baby. She scraped (360 degree) my cervix and we hope that it would help to make my labor active. She said I have to wait for two to three days and I might into labor..if not then OB appointment again on the 19th. Induce is no longer applicable for me but instead augmentation(if necessary). But since that my blood pressure is normal, the baby movement is fine, then there is no reason to force the issue.. I have to wait for the right time. When is that time?

Fedex the (AOS)

The Hapifam went out today to send the documents for Adjustment of Status(AOS) through FedEx. The US Visa Center processing seems so fast these days. We just received the approval of petition last month, and after a month we received the AOS. We paid $140 for this document (DS-###) online. The immigration expert said that we'll save 4 to 6 weeks if we'll pay it online so that's how husband did (paid it online).

After sending the documents, we proceeded to Starbucks for some relaxation. Bienne wrote her diary, I read my fave magazine(Cosmo) and hubby read his pocketbook.

Finally, we went to Rustan's grocery store and bought things we needed.

First Grading Score

Bienne was so excited to show us her scores during first periodical exam. No wonder why she can't wait to show us. Out of six subjects, she got perfect scores in four subjects(Civics 85/85, Science 65/65, Language 60/60, and Math 70/70) and two mistakes each for the two subjects( Filipino 63/65 and Reading 68/70). I can tell that getting that scores are not easy for a 6yo child, she's in grade1 but using second grade books.. And the type of test and the questions, gosh, if I compare it to public school, its already in intermediate level type of test.

Congratulations Beinne. Keep up the good work. =)

Movie Watched : Babylon AD

We went to see Babylon AD yesterday. Lots of action, but not lots of acting. Mainly just fun to be there with my wife. We walked a little bit also which is supposedly good for the pregnancy. She is doing so well. I am surprised because I thought she would be in more pain by now, but she is super tough. 9 days until the due date. Will we go the full term? We will see!(Andy)

God's Time

My family is calling on us everyday to see when the baby will come. But as wife says, it will come in God’s time. I am excited but not overanxious for it to happen. Mainly, I want a healthy wife and baby after all is said and done. Wife is very healthy as can be, so God is working. Arianna is going to be special as she is our first baby together. Bienne is special because she is so mabait and a wonderful first child for me.(Andy)

The Crib

Arianna's crib is just next to our bed... we are excited to see our baby sleeping and playing inside the crib. I often talk to the crib (her) though Arianna has not yet arrived. She'll be here this week or next week. We are so curious what our baby gonna look like. Of course I want her to be 90% hubby's look-a-like and only 10% of me. But Andy wants to be look like me... I always have an excuse that we have already Bienne that exactly the same as me. May the best strong blood wins!

Drawing Paint Program

Bienne is not only like to play piano, dance, sing, draw, but she also loves to draw and color using the paint program. There was times that me and hubby needed the paint program but we didn't know how to use it, Bienne taught us how. Everyday she surprises us with her creations using bond paper..She would draw and write something that would really touch your heart. She's really sweet and so thoughtful.. We are lucky to have a kid like her.

@ Starbucks

Its been 2weeks that we haven't stayed at Starbucks and we missed our usual spot where we can just sit and relax while reading, drinking and eating. Even if the place is packed and noisy, it didn't bother us. We are family who loves to read quietly. As usual, hubby ordered his favorite coffee and chocolate doughnut, I ordered Chocolate cookies cream and doughnut as well, while Bienne just zip a little bit... she ate a lot for lunch so she just sit and read her book. After couple of hour we proceeded to Rustan's to buy some goods.

Wii Have Wii

Finally we have Wii, even if only temporarily. My family was kind enough to let me bring it back to Cebu with me for the family. They don't use it much now as they have had it for over a year, but I said I would return it when me and the fam move there to HB (or wherever we end up moving).

It's actually not a bad way to get exercise. I particularly like the boxing game. If I go for 30 or 45 minutes, I can get a pretty good cardio workout in. Not bad!! Bienne and Myluv seem to like it quite a bit, just have to make sure little B does not get TOO in to video games. She can use it occasionally as a break from studies and family stuff. Myluv seems to like the bowling. She's definitely way better than me at it. I love to watch her play. She's a natural and graceful person to watch for sure.

Thanks fam back home!!(Andy)
