Whatta Mall ... Wwooow!

Hapifam spends time in the mall few times a week just for walk and buy things that we needed. Today was the opening of the extension of Ayala Mall. We can't believe of what we saw. It is so beautiful! The huge landscape, water display (fountain), new stores, etc. You better visit the mall to believe..(walang cnabi ang Glorieta,lupig cla!hehe). After seeing the wwooww mall, we might spend our time everyday there. It is really pleasant to the eyes.

New Sleeping Schedule

Arianna's sleeping schedule is changed again. She is now sleeping the whole morning and evening for 2 consecutive already. I really like when she's sleeping those time of the day so that I can do my blogthing.

By the way something happened yesterday afternoon . I left the baby to the care of my husband and since baby was awake, she cried for more than an hour! I pity my husband because baby A was looking for my touch. I was not home for 3 hours because I fetched the new helper to the airport. My husband was exhausted and fell asleep on the bed and good thing the baby also slept a minute after hubby slept.

iNJECTION

Sad to say that Bienne's vaccination was not completed during her infancy... and so we are completing it these days. She had her shots last month and this month : a total of 3 injections. Last week she had her shot, a 3-in-1 injection. How tough Bienne is each time she has had a shot..she's not afraid of the needle. I think she is more brave than I was.. I'm still afraid of the injection now but not Bienne.

Back to Crib

Baby Anne slept on the couch day and night for about 10days..and now she is back to her crib. She's no longer a fussy baby girl. Last night, she slept 9 hours, meaning to say I was able to sleep for 8hours not only because she had long sleep but because my husband took care of her and fed her.

As you can see on the pic, that there should be music on so she'll have a good sleep. BabyA is a music lover. =)

Pop up TV

Yesterday, we shopped for our home office furniture. We need an office table and a divider to divide the living room from the office. We had a hard time looking for an affordable division and so we decided to purchase a cabinet that a pop up tv can be placed on top of it. Hubby and I acted like an interior designers , we put all things done. The accountant will be reporting on Monday here in our personalized home office.

Moi Bienne

South Hills International School celebrated their United Nation today at Cebu City Library. Hapifam was there to watch the performances of Bienne : Dance, sing(solo), interpretative dance and also she was a prop. Hubby and I were amazed on her performances. She was the smallest student in the Elementary level. I'm proud of my daughter really. Bienne surprised me sometimes. She won't tell me ahead what else she would gonna perform. She just told us to watch and see. Brovo Bienne!

Chandeliers

When hubby and I visited the venue for our wedding reception, one thing caught my attention was the sophisticated chandeliers hung on the ceiling. I liked the entire ambiance, not to mention it was a new building. I also liked the garden outside where the ceremony took place. I told my fiance (then husband) to pay the down payment right away before it will be taken by others. Oh it’s so good to reminisce the past.

Couch Baby

Baby Anne is sleeping on the couch for a week now. I don't know what's on the couch why she's having long sleep. But of course an FM radio should be played as well.

She is now one month old.. no more cries, gloves, she has lots of smiles, more sleeps, she can carry her head slightly and she can SEE the world now.

I cut her nails today and she just waited when I'm done. She didn't move or else I might cut the skin on her fingers.

BB is 4 weeks Old

She woke up this morning with smiles on her face. I immediately grabbed the camera and took some pictures. Those smiles are the consolation prize we got from a long day and night we spent on her like holding for hours. Today, she is exactly 4 weeks old. At this time she can see already and move her body 1 foot off the pillow. She is now capable to falling from bed so it is a must to guard her full time.

Better One

We decided to change the pedia of Bienne and Arianna to better one. Though the first one was good but no, we don't want a toxic doctor. The new one is great, she's a friend of my OB. She prescribed a med for bb Anne's eyes and now bb is fine. This pedia is not pretending that she knows everything, I saw her reading a book for the right dosage and medicine for my bb. The medicine she prescribed for Bienne was also effective. I'm sure we had a right decision on changing our pedia. The next schedule for check up will be on Saturday.

Recently we had a computer which had a problem with the video card. Not being computer geeks, we really didn't even know what a video card was used for, only that it obviously has to do with what we see on the screen. Sunday Night at MidTown

The hapifam stayed in the hotel for a day and night. We needed some space and new ambiance sometimes. We were so pre-occupied lately that we really needed to take a break. Of course Bienne was so excited and so with hubby and I. The hotel room has a crib for free but baby Anne preferred to sleep with us on the king size bed.

Midtown hotel is our favorite place to go. Our second time stay with family but first time of baby Anne. I think we will do it at least twice a month. This hotel is clean, nice and affordable located at Robinson's Mall building, Fuente Osmeña, Cebu City, PI.

Exercise Equipment

Exercising is one of the most difficult things for most people to do. Whether one goes to the gym or has exercise equipment at home, finding time and energy to do the workouts is a major factor in people being out of shape. I prefer to have exercise equipment in the house so we don’t pay the monthly fees and have the travel time to and from the gym.

... sleep on my arms. Sometimes baby Anne sleeps beside me especially when I'm tired. It is easier to breastfeed her when she's lying next to me. But sad to say that she is not contented with my milk on day time anymore, so I have to give her formula. But on night time she is pure breastfeed. Her sleeping mood varies everyday: sleeping almost all day yet awake(with owa-owa!) at night, but tonight she is sleeping with few interruption (milk time) but no crying yehey I can blog.

Silent Night : Bienne Playing Piano:Part 3

Do you have a voice? You can sing a Christmas song "Silent Night" while Bienne is playing it for you. I know its not yet December, but here in the Philippines once it's "ber" already that means its Pascoe este Christmas! She played it today before going to school. This time, she was staring on the notes not on keyboard. I can't do it! can you? hehehe! Even if I'll look on the keyboard I can't still do it. I have no talent in music, only my daughter. Naks! proud momma jud oi.

Arianna's US Passport Photo

We already got her birth certificate yesterday and the next step is to request a US passport. Hubby took some pictures of her and we picked the best shot, isn't she so cute? I hope this picture is accepted since the background is not that white. We are still waiting for her authenticated BC from the NSO though. Once it is delivered, we can request her US passport right away.

Acne Treatment

Its been three weeks that I didn’t get enough sleep and this means pimples are starting to show on my face. Before it gets worse I have to consider acne treatment or else I have to suffer acne problem. I’m not use to have pimples but if this is the prize of having a precious baby that cause my sleepless nights, I don’t bother but to take my acne with open arms.

Patience Tested

Two nights ago, our patience was been tested by baby Anne. She was fussy for five hours(night time)! All she wanted to do was crying and 'twas so loud. I can't carry her because I was sick and my hubby was so busy with business (over the phone with employees and clients). We both pissed off because we already did what we can just to let her stop crying. But the helper was here to rescue, she has now an extra job: to tame the baby for a couple of hours everyday. It's fine with her because her salary is raised yesterday. And also she was longing to carry the baby since she was born...'twas her first time to carry the baby. She was so happy. Husband and I decided to let her watch the baby everyday for about two hours in order for us to take a nap and get some rest after the tiresome day.

Egg Nog Recipes

Bienne reminded me this morning not to forget to buy healthy snacks in the store because her stock is running out. To make sure that I wont forget it, she listed it on the whiteboard for lists of things to purchase . One of her favorite snacks is egg nog and so I searched it online if I can make a home made egg nog . Surprisingly, there is really an egg nog recipes and it is so easy to prepare and so healthy.

Swans on the Lake

Here's another song played by Bienne entitled "Swans on the Lake". This is one of her favorites. When she is bored here in the house she would just sit in front of the piano and play whatever she wants but of course she would stop if her cute little fingers hurt.

I'm so happy that finally I can use the service of YouTube, it is now successfully loaded and processed. This would be the starting of my Vblog. It's been a year that I tried uploading videos on youtube but due to slow connection, I can't upload.

The video was taken by hubby and anytime we can forward the videos to our family in the US since they can't see Arianna just yet.

Special Guests

The Hapifam was honored to have Darlene and her son MD as special guests two days before they flew to the US. The husband entertained them while the wife entertained the other guest (Babel). Baby Anne was so peaceful on the arms of her tita Darlene. MD was also happy seeing the baby.

To Arlene, thank you so much for the visit and you are always welcome here.. hope to see you one of these days (in Utah). Take care always. We got a friend in you. =)

Popular Baby A.

I'm so proud of Arianna. She is so popular here : In the school, grocery store and of course at Starbucks. She is now a certified Starbucks' baby. Baby Anne is very much welcome to stay inside the coffee shop, she just there to sleep until we are done with our orders and reading materials. She is also our lucky charm because for so many times that we are in the Starbucks, we are not lucky to sit in our favorite spot, but with baby Arianna, the spot was free so we really enjoyed our time.
