Comedy - Horror : Ari's LOL

In this video, Bienne was trying to scare Arianna by acting like a girl in "The Ring" movie with her face covered by her hair. Arianna found it so funny so instead of crying she laughed out loud... a very contagious laugh. Arianna was exactly 11months old when I recorded this video. Enjoy watching! No More Blackheads

Ask me why I don’t like blackheads? My answer : Because I got a lot or moles already all over my face, and yeah you’re right, I have one visible mole on the top left of my nose. When I was in HS through college, I noticed I have many tiny blackheads on my nose. The first thing I did to get rid of blackheads was, I applied my favorite beauty product. Since then, blackhead is no longer a problem. I’m happy for the result.

California School Girl

See how excited Bienne this morning. She has been waiting for about 5 months, and finally she is back to school! Everyone was excited and we can't wait for her 1000 words later today. She'll talk about her first day of school.

We just walked this morning in going to her school (me, hubby, baby Arianna and Bienne). Just 8-min walk. It was a great idea to just walk than using a car because the number of cars in the road had reached to the corner near our house.

She's in second grade. There are 20 students in her class and she's the only Filipino although there are 5% Filipinos in that school.

I have no more little helper in the house on weekdays..oh boy this is tough. I have to adjust again but I can do it (besides,hubby is here most of the time)! If others can do,why can't I, hehe!

My Kids in Formal Attire

The studio didn't give us the CD for this picture so I just reproduced it. Here's my story about this picture: We were walking in the mall when a lady approached us and started her sales talk. We heard her saying they have a promotion and all we have to pay is ($16) for 11"x14" picture. That's a pretty good deal. They provided the dresses and accessories. One week later, we picked up the photo and the guy showed the rest of the pictures (4 poses) with different sizes. But we didn't get any package because the price is crazy($300)! We just got the 11x14, as what the lady said when she approached us that day.

Water Filter

If in case you read this post of mine, let me ask you to open your fridge and look for the expiration date of your water filters. I just looked mine and guess what? It has to be changed on September 2009! Oh well I’m glad I checked it out or else we’ll be drinking a not so clean water. Drinking distilled water is good to our health.

30th Birthday

Exactly 30 years ago, a dark-brown baby was born. And now, she lives happily ever after.

GC Coming Soon

We went to US Department of Homeland Security Customs & Border Protection this morning to process the form I-89. That form should be filled up for the production of GreenCard. I missed filling up that form at my Port of Entry last April 3,2009 at LAX. That was the reason why I haven’t received my GC yet. Our anticipation, our query about why they haven’t sent the GC is finally answered today. I thought there was a major problem with my documents and I thought they are gonna get me and place me in the detention center. Hehe! I’m not guilty your honor.

Why I thought that way(kulba)? Because I got a letter from them saying “Please come to the office in connection with an official matter”. Indi ka bala makulbaan kung makadawat ka sina nga sulat?

Anyway, the lady in the that Department is so friendly. And her last words was “ Just wait for your greencard in your mailbox, it is coming soon!”. Awesome!

Laptop

Our laptop is no longer in use because the screen won’t stand by itself anymore. It needs to have something at the back so it would stand. If we are out of town, let’s say if we are in vacation, we have no internet access unless if the hotel would provide PC in the room. So, we are eyeing online for laptops and might buy one this December. That would be a great present for hubby and I. I’ll start saving now.

Her Vision : 20 - 150

My little Bienne has to wear an eyeglasses full time! We were not aware that her vision is so bad until her physical exam two weeks ago. It's a requirement in the school to get her physical exam. The result was great except her vision. The optometrist was surprised that Bienne didn't bang herself in any wall because her eyes are that really bad. What we knew was, she can't read tiny letters on billboards or signs. According to her pediatrician back in the Philippines, that her eyes are not yet developed due to age (7 yo) and so we didn't mind this eye issue. Even in St. Luke's, they didn't advice us to get Bienne an eyeglasses.

Anyway, Bienne was so excited to wear an eyeglasses. She can't even wait for her eyeglasses from the eye clinic affiliated with her health insurance. And so we purchased a second pair of eyeglasses few days ago. And wow! She looks good having it on her eyes! The first time she worn it, all she can say was "WOW! I can see clearly now! and Wow! I can read far texts! Mommy! it's clearer than your digicam!". Silly Bienne! Really, we are so happy that she likes her eyeglasses on. We are happy that she can see perfectly. By the way, Bienne loves to read books since she knew how to read. Not just a thin book but thick ones. She wont stop reading until she finished it and read new book again, one after another.
